The band DOYLE, featuring legendary Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, are currently on their 2022 ABOMINATE THE WORLD: AS WE DIE WORLD TOUR and made a stop at Diesel Concert Lounge in Chesterfield Township, MI on March 13.The Diesel had a great turnout for a Sunday night with a fair share of the attendees adorned with Misfits or Doyle logos on their bodies.
Vocalist Alex "Wolfman" Story from the band Cancerslug came out singing the opening song "Abominator" in a gimp mask and kept the thing on for 3/4 of their set. Doyle is still a beast on guitar 40 years after the debut Misfits album and is showing no signs of slowing down. Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein isn't one to rest on one's laurels because of his work with the Misfits and this go around the band didn't perform any Misfits songs live. They did, however, fill the set with songs from both Doyle albums, 2013's Abominator and 2017's Doyle II: As We Die. The band ripped through a intense 12 song set, and bassist Brandon Strate and drummer Wade Murff stuck around after to chat it up with pleased fans.
